Outlook: Norcross is coming off its first losing season since 2017. Hoping to produce a bounce-back year, the Blue Devils are led by a pair of future collegiate players in seniors Tristan Alvarez (Piedmont College) and Will Thiry (Gordon State).
Admittedly, head coach Aaron Wilkens’ bunch isn’t one that’s going to blow you away with individual superstars. Instead, Norcross can find success as a scrappy unit, willing to give "110 percent," the coach said.
Coach Wilkens’ take: “We know in order to get better you have to make mistakes and bounce back from those mistakes and learn from those mistakes. And we have the culture this year, I believe, that people will feel free to go 110 percent and they know if they make a mistake, guys are going to be there to support them and bounce back.
